I was blowing off some steam after a long day in the studio and threw this together for a special person. The Lovely Sparrows are not really known for being overly happy, sappy, or light hearted, so it was kind of fun to borrow the sweeter sentiment from this song.  And fair’s fair, M.,  you are totally welcome to a Sparrows song.  Have at it!  

Sideone:Trackone just posted it. It’s ultra lo-fi, but I think the spirit/sentiment is there. Hope you enjoy it.  The new record is now officially in progress. We’re about 5-6 songs in right now, but have a bunch of tricks up our sleeves for this one… so stay posted. We are heading out on a short midwestern tour in a few weeks with fellow Sparrow Robert Ellis, in support of his new record. We’re excited to be doing another Daytrotter session while we’re out.
